LANDSCAPE:) Ansel Adams

I chose this photograph becuase I like how the road brings your eyes to the cliffs in the background. No, I haven't been there; but it does remind me of when I was little and we take road trips. My dad always refuses to take a plain so we drive every where. I would love to go there.
Even though the picture is black and white I love how it looks. Peaceful. My favorite part of the photogragh is the constrast. The road lines are super white, as where the ground is very black. The composition is very good. You can see the dirt or tire mark along the road. The only thing I would change is the car in the background. I would like it better if the car was slightly farther up the road.
If I was there now I would drive my car super fast, have a pinic on the side of the road. If i was in the photogragh I'd be along the side walking, like a hitch hicker. With my thumb stuck out.

Henri Cartier-Bresson_MOVEMENT:]

I picked this picture by Henri Cartier-Bresson. This photograph conveys movement by capturing the man running. The picture would be boring if the man was just standing there, less interesting. Another element that brings the picture together is the reflection. It shows the man running through the refletion. You can also see the man and buildings in the background. The ladder laying in the water leaves ripples in the water breaking the clearness of the reflection. I hope that i can bring other elements into one picture, like this one.
